Karen Riley

Karen Riley is an experienced operational executive and board director in enterprise software, services and SaaS companies. She has led businesses in high growth, fundraising, turnaround, and acquisition situations. Karen has been an active angel investor since 2004, a partner with The Angels’ Forum since 2007, and a member of the Band of Angels since 2011. Karen serves on a number of boards/advisory boards, including Loqate, Panterra Networks, Scopix Solutions, TalentSky and Taulia. She has also served as a board director for Specialty's Cafe & Bakery, GeoG2, Portal Software (acquired by Oracle); and on the advisory boards for DeepDyve, Transera Communications, Princeton Softech (acquired by IBM), and VisualizeROI. Prior to that, she was SVP of Global Services at Siebel Systems from 1999 until 2004, where she built and led the worldwide direct sales and delivery of Siebel's professional services, technical and end user education, sales effectiveness consulting, and maintenance contract renewals - a $1B+ business at its peak. Prior to Siebel, Karen had a 20 year career at IBM where she held executive positions in product management, industry solution sales, systems integration and outsourcing services,and asGeneral Manager of IBM Global Services' CRM and Business Process Outsourcing division. She has also served as a mentor for Astia (non-profit for women entrepreneurs) companies, and as a board director for FWE&E (forum for women entrepreneurs & executives) now called Watermark.
