Sam P. Most

Sam P. Most, MD, MBA is a facial plastic surgeon, healthcare leader, and medical advisor with over two decades of experience bridging patient care and technology development. At Stanford University, Sam leads the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where his current work focuses on AI-driven imaging and its applications in surgery and facial analysis. He is also a Stanford Biodesign Faculty Fellow, furthering his involvement in health-technology innovation and translation. Sam combines clinical expertise and product development experience with a focus on advancing biotechnology and bringing emerging technologies into patient care. He has advised early-stage medical device companies including Spirox, where he helped design and implement clinical trials and advised on market strategy; Autonomic Technologies, where he served as a device-safety and technical advisor for neuromodulation implants; and Barcode Nanotech, a startup developing mRNA-based therapeutics, where he contributed to market analysis, needs assessment, and go-to-market strategy. He earned his bachelor’s and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan and his MD from Stanford, with postgraduate training at Yale and the University of Washington.
