Praveen Kumar
Praveen Kumar is a Partner at SCILD (pronounced "SKILLED" ) INNOVATIONS , an applied research & technology venture incubation lab. SCILD's current focus is on early stage venture incubation in the AI, Computer Vision and IT/Telco infrastructure space. Praveen is currently leading two venture incubation projects within SCILD focusing on 5G Mobile Networks and AI enabled Computer Vision. Prior to his involvement at SCILD, he was Vice President at Anite Telecoms (LSE: AIE , now Keysight Technologies). Praveen joined Anite following their acquisition of Invenova, a vendor of mobile broadband Test & Measurement systems, that he ran and owned since its founding in 2004. Invenova developed the Industry's first pre-4G (WiMAX) reference Infrastructure and client platform that formed the basis of the leading Industry body's (WiMAX Forum) certification program, and its customers included several Fortune 500 Telecom equipment/component vendors and service providers. He was previously Co-founder and VP, Technology at Basil Networks (Network Processor IP vendor), and prior to that a Principal engineer at Vitesse Semiconductor.
