Tim Yoo

Tim is a seasoned executive operator and data science leader recognized for leveraging AI/ML to drive operational efficiency and scale high-growth enterprises. Most recently at Roku, he transformed the Analytics organization from a lean team of three into a powerhouse of over 80 data scientists and BI engineers. Reporting to the CFO, Tim served as a central architect of enterprise value, deploying advanced statistical modeling and experimentation frameworks that significantly optimized ROI across monetization, marketing, and content acquisition. His strategic oversight was instrumental in driving Roku’s ARPU growth and securing its presence in over half of U.S. broadband households.

Prior to Roku, Tim built a career at the intersection of technical leadership and direct P&L responsibility. At Meta, he led data science teams focused on marketing ROI optimization and brand sentiment, while his tenure at Red Robot Labs showcased his capabilities as a direct operator, where he successfully managed a game studio and launched two commercially successful titles. With early career roots in product management at Playdom (acquired by Disney ) and Intel Security, Tim brings a holistic, outcome-driven approach to data, ML, and AI. Tim holds both a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics from Stanford University.
