Zobair Hashemi
Zobair Hashemi a senior sales and business leader with deep experience across technology markets. He started his career in biotech research and development, working in ultrasound imaging and DNA sequencing, before pivoting into the commercial side of the Electronic Design Automation industry, where he has spent the last twenty-five years supporting the semiconductor ecosystem. Zobair joined Mentor Graphics in 2008 and has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility. In 2016, he was promoted to Senior Sales Director for the Western region, which doubled in size under his leadership. Since January 2023, he has served as Senior Vice President, Americas at Siemens EDA, where he leads a worldwide field organization across the Americas, managing over one billion dollars in revenue and a cross-functional team of five hundred people driving commercial execution that enables semiconductor companies from established leaders to high-growth startups to innovate and scale. Beyond his operating role, he is deeply involved with leading semiconductor companies and startups alike and is genuinely interested in contributing to the startup and investment ecosystem through deal sourcing, technical perspective, and active mentorship of founders.
