Band of Angels Application

If you submit an application for review to the Band it will be forwarded to a Pre-Screening Committee. This committee is made up of experts from every high tech category including digital media, fintech, life science/medtech, semiconductor, software, and telecommunications. The committee reviews close to 50 plans a month and selects 6 for an invitation to the Deal Screening, held on the last Wednesday of each month.

We are looking forward to learning more about your company. To start the process, fill out the form below. The final field will require a link to your pitch deck and/or executive summary. Please go to DropBox, Google Drive, Box, and similar to create a sharing link to the document.

Our program is designed to save entrepreneurs' time. We try to give a quick no and only ask you to jump though additional hoops as necessary. To start, please review the FAQ section to ensure your venture matches what the Band is looking to fund and to help.

Band of Angels invests in companies currently located in Northern California. If you are outside of our geographic focus, please visit the Angel Capital Association to identify angel groups in your region.

If it is a note or a SAFE with a discount, what is the discount %? If it does not apply, please write N/A.
If it is a capped note or a priced equity round, what is the valuation? If it does not apply, please write N/A. Valuation depends on many things, but we prefer deals in the $2M to $6M valuation range and few companies successfully raise financing from the Band at valuations greater than $10M.
