Paul Twombly has over 38 years of diversified global experience in executive management, M & A, business development, partner development, product management, customer service, manufacturing and operations. Most recently Paul was with Foundry Networks/Brocade Communications where he was CIO from 2001-2005 and established field operations, service and support locations in the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. Foundry Networks was a venture backed worldwide provider of networking systems and solutions which was acquired by Brocade Communications in December 2008 for $2.6B. Prior to Foundry, Paul was Sr. Vice President of Global Client Services for NICE Systems, a worldwide leader of multimedia digital recording solutions, applications and related professional services for business interaction management. During his tenure with NICE, Paul managed the acquisition and integration of the largest independent North American distributor and served as an active board member on two technology companies acquired by NICE Systems. Earlier executive roles included his time as VP of Operations for WarpSpeed Communications (acquired by Enron in 2001), a venture backed company that provided on-demand high speed and high QoS, broadband network connections and VP at Voysys Corporation, a venture backed OEM provider of voice processing technology to major telecommunications corporations. Paul began his career as founder and partner in a telecommunication engineering company before spending several years with IBM in various capacities, leading up to his role as Director of Technical Assistance Centers where he received the company’s highest award for services and support excellence 4 years in a row.
