Harry Davitian is President of Entek Power Services, Inc. which he founded in 1980. Entek began as a consulting company, primarily providing services to the independent power industry. Over time, Entek morphed into a developer of large conventional and renewable power projects which it initiated. Currently Entek has financial interests in an operating 350 MW gas power plant as well as in two plants under development: a 550 MW gas power plant on Long Island and a 300 MW solar PV project in the Mojave Desert. In his early career, Mr. Davitian performed energy technology assessments and energy policy analyses and oversaw the development of innovative methods for analyzing how renewable resources would affect electric utility costs and operations. In the 1990’s, Mr. Davitian served as an advisor to the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Armenia. Mr. Davitian recently moved from Long Island to the Bay Area. While living in New York, Mr. Davitian served on the boards of half a dozen business, trade and environmental organizations, two of which he helped to get started. Here in the Bay Area, he serves on the Advocacy Council of the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber of Commerce.
