Gopal Solanki has over 30 years of engineering expertise, general management, and leadership in semiconductor and related fields. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Magnum Semiconductor, Inc., a video compression processor and software developer for the broadcast market. He was with Magnum Semiconductor from February 2008 until its acquisition in April 2016 and was responsible for the worldwide operations. Gopal joined Magnum from NVIDIA Corporation, where he had most recently served as the Senior Vice President for NVIDIA’s rapidly growing chipset business, which he built to a position of worldwide market prominence. During his 12 years at NVIDIA he also led the development of several successful products in the company's successful line of GPU (graphics processor unit) chips. During more than two decades in the semiconductor industry, Gopal has also held engineering and management positions at Weitek Corporation and Intel Corporation. Gopal holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, New York.
