Bill Hasler is Dean Emeritus of the Haas Business School and Co-Chief Executive of Aphton Corporation. He was a former Vice Chairman and Director of KPMG Peat Marwick. Based in New York from 1986-91, he was responsible for Peat Marwick’s worldwide consulting practice. He held several positions with the firm in L.A., and from 1984-86 served in San Francisco as Vice Chairman for the western region. He serves as a member of the Board of several other public companies including Solectron, DiTech Communications, and DMC Stratex. He is active in private venture capital and serves as Director or Advisor to several technology start-ups. He is a public governor of the Pacific Stock & Options Exchange and a trustee of the Schwab Funds. He is a 1963 Pomona graduate, and received an MBA from Harvard in 1967.
