Paul Quadros was the former Managing partner of Tenex Greenhouse Ventures, a life science venture fund focusing on early stage medical technologies. He was responsible for sourcing opportunities, integrating seasoned mentors into the venture process and personally nurturing portfolio companies. From 1995-2004 he was the Co-founder and former Chairman of the Board of Directors or Corautus Genetics a Cardiology Gene Delivery, listed on NASDAQ:VEGF. Corautus is a company formed from the merger, in 2003, of GenStar Therapeutics, a public company, and privately held Vascular Genetics, Inc.(VGI). Corautus formed a strategic alliance with Boston Scientific (NYSE:BSX) to develop and market its lead cardiovascular therapy. At GenStar, Paul was responsible for the incorporation and coordination of this spinout into an independent public company that was listed on the American Stock Exchange, and was one of the top performing stocks on the AMEX in 2000. Initially he managed all business development, administrative, finance and planning functions and led the acquisition of its core technologies. Served as Chief Executive Officer through a milestone partnering agreement with Baxter Healthcare (NYSE:BAX) in 1998. Became Executive Chairman in 1998 and was actively involved in all operational, strategic and financing activities through the merger with VGI and from 1995 to 2003 he served as CFO.
