LS/BIOTECH SCREENING COMMITTEE

Six members serve for rotating terms on the Life Science/Biotech Screening Committee. These members represent many of the subdivisions within this industry including Pharmaceuticals & Therapeutics, Medical Device & Instrumentation, Drug Discoveries, Diagnostics and Healthcare Services.

These members represent many of the high tech divisions within the Band including, LS/Biotech, Energy/Cleantech, Telecom/Security, Software, Internet as well as the many various Social Activities of the Band.

MEMBERS

Band members are generally former or current high tech executives interested in investing their time and money into startups. Eleven members serve for rotating twelve-month terms on the Member Selection Committee.

Craig London most recently was executive vice president and officer of Solectron Corporation (NYSE:SLR) and president and CEO of Solectron Global Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. He was responsible for all sales, strategy, and operations for repair services, logistics, parts management and fulfillment for major global OEM\’s products worldwide. This business generated over $1B annually with 15,000 people in 21 sites worldwide. Flextronics (NASDAQ:FLEX) acquired Solectron in October 2007.

Prior to that position, London was president and CEO of Solectron\’s Technology Business Unit which encompassed three separate companies: Smart Modular Corporation, a $1.4B annual memory company; Force Computer Corporation, a $300M compute platform company and Dy4 Systems, a $140M high stress board company for defense aircraft. Craig was responsible for selling each of these companies and others when a new CEO was named for Solectron.

London came from Solectron from Safeguard Scientifics Inc, (NYSE:SFE) a diversified public venture capital company that identified, developed and operated emerging technology companies where he served as an executive officer and managing director, Technology Products.

Mr. London came to Safeguard from Diva Communications, Inc. a wireless communications equipment manufacturer of wireless loop products where is served as president and CEO.

London also held executive management positions in sales, service and operations in the United States and Asia during his eight years with Nortel Networks. He also held various management positions at Rockwell International Telecommunications, and AT&T.

He serves on the board of directors for Boy Scouts of America-Pacific Skyline Council and the San Francisco Zoological Society.

London holds a master\’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’\s degree in physics from the University of California at Berkeley.
