Tim Massey is Principal of the Band of Angels Fund; he has been with the Band of Angels Fund since the summer of 2001, and he led the investments in Virtual Silicon Technologies, ChipWrights, and PortalPlayer, Inc. Currently he is a board observer at ChipWrights and Theta Microelectronics. Prior to Band of Angels Fund, Tim held management positions in sales and marketing with BOPS Inc, a DSP semiconductor intellectual property start-up. Prior to BOPS, Tim held several positions of increasing responsibility at Texas Instruments where he ultimately led a sales and marketing group focused on DSP and ASIC. Tim holds a BSEE degree from North Carolina State University.
