DEAL SCREENING COMMITTEE
LS/BIOTECH SCREENING COMMITTEE

Six members serve for rotating terms on the Life Science/Biotech Screening Committee. These members represent many of the subdivisions within this industry including Pharmaceuticals & Therapeutics, Medical Device & Instrumentation, Drug Discoveries, Diagnostics and Healthcare Services.

Seven members serve for rotating terms as the Chairperson for Band of Angels’ Special Industry Groups. These members represent many of the high tech divisions within the Band including, LS/Biotech, Energy/Cleantech, Telecom/Security, Software and Internet as well as the many varied Social Activities of the Band.

MEMBERS

Seven members serve for rotating twelve-month terms on the Deal Screening Committee. They are selected to represent each of the high tech categories of Semiconductors, Software, Internet, Life Science, and Networking/Telecom.

David Wu is an active angel investor and Venture Partner at Maveron LLC. Previously, David worked at Intuit (NASDAQ:INTU), where he was a Vice President in their Small Business Group. He led product management, marketing, experience design, and engineering and has managed a variety of businesses including Intuit Websites, QuickBooks Online, and Intuit.com during his tenure at the company. David joined Intuit in December 2007 as part of the company's acquisition of Homestead Technologies Inc. for $170M, where he was the Chief Product Officer, COO, and CFO since 1997.

His almost two decades of experience in the computer and Internet industries also includes positions at Synopsys and Scitor Corporation, where he led the team to InfoWorld's 1996 Product of the Year.

David has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. degree in Economics from Stanford University.
